Our premium cremation urns are handcrafted from solid Black Walnut hardwood. They are absolutely unique in design and only available here at Evermore Caskets. These beautiful wooden urns are bottom filling and will hold approximately 212 cubic inches of ash.

How to purchase the correct size of urn?

Urns are generally sold by the cubic inch volume of ash that they hold. The easiest way to determine the correct size of urn needed is to understand that one pound of body weight translates into approximately one cubic inch of ash. Therefore a 200 pound adult would require an urn with a capacity of 200 cubic inches.

Here at Evermore Caskets we are very excited to announce a brand new line of high quality European style coffins!

We have responded to the many requests for a traditional European shaped coffin which is virtually unavailable in North America at this time.

Our focus has been to provide the highest quality wooden coffin with the smallest carbon footprint!

Our handcrafted coffins are built with only 100% solid hardwood! The Black Walnut and White Birch that we use is selectively harvested in Canada from sustainable forests.          

Always, our pride in craftsmanship is evident in every coffin we build. Each  is hand made with exacting precision and attention to detail. Our coffins represent the finest hand crafted funerary product on the market today. The attention to grain, color and precise fitting joinery is simply not found in today’s fast paced world.

We believe our coffins, with their simple, clean lines have stayed true to the original old world styling of this classic design! We have left the interior unfinished and in its natural state in keeping with its authentic origins. A pillow is included.

Our solid Black Walnut coffin is finished with a deep and rich Walnut oil, then  lacquered with a low lustre satin finish. 

Our solid White Birch coffin has multiple coats of a creamy satin lacquer. The result is a very beautiful and uniform colonial finish.

Our coffins are not mass produced in a large factory. They are individually hand made from start to finish with every aspect of their creation done soley in our Duncan, BC location by a master crafstsman.

Our pricing does not contain any middleman mark-ups but instead represents an honest, wholesale price from us to you. 

We offer free deivery to the funeral home of your choice or any residential location you choose in the Southern Vancouver Island, BC region. If  the coffin you choose is in stock, we will deliver it within two business days.

The price for our Traditional European Coffin is $2,400.00 CAD. Deliveries beyond the Southern Vancouver Island region will be priced for your approval.
